Description |
expediSOURCE is a Web-based software application that is modeled after Acuity’s approach to services – affordable, easy to manage, and results-driven. Responding to client needs, Acuity developed expediSOURCE in collaboration with Digital Controls Corporation to automate the most commonly used and most labor-intensive sourcing processes. A brief overview of the application is provided below but there are over 150 individual screens and countless code procedures that cannot be adequately represented here. This application benefits buyers of all types and scales to organizations of all sizes.
Implementation expediSOURCE is hosted on our secure servers and requires no local software or special plug-ins to operate. Each client version includes a partitioned database with 5GB storage, client-specific URL, logo and graphics, security certificate, setup, support and user training (two days). Usage license grants are limited only by number of active suppliers; i.e. blocks of 100, 250 or 1000. Annual license fees including support range from $34,500 to $44,500 plus a one-time charge of $5,000 for initial configuration and training. Simplicity of design and intuitive help functions eliminate the need to train suppliers. Forms design is user-driven and no additional configuration or consulting is required. Implementation timeframe is 2-3 weeks.
User Functions User information screens and functions have been incorporated into the system to facilitate the addition, deletion, management and reporting of both internal (client) users and external (supplier) users. Both internal and external users can self-register outside the login screen, or internal users can input data on behalf of the registrants. In either case a system-generated username and password is sent via external email to the registrant, and based on role, the new user can self-edit/maintain their profile at will. The registration profile screen captures information such as NAICS codes, business types, products/services provided, and relationship history in addition to detailed contact and password information. |
